
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A crash involving a pedestrian shut down the Eisenhower Expressway for hours early Sunday morning, police said.
The crash on the outbound lanes of the Ike near Independence Boulevard, police said.
The pedestrian was allegedly walking on the expressway when they were struck.
ISP said they had critical injuries.
The outbound lanes of I-290 were shut down starting at 4:30 a.m.
ISP said all lanes reopened by 7:15 a.m.
No other information was available.
