3 hospitalized after Joliet crash involving 3 vehicles

Three people were hospitalized after a crash involving four vehicles in Joliet Tuesday.

Police said the 73-year-old was in a Subaru and driving at a high rate of speed and slammed into a minivan near Black and Essington roads at about 4:18 p.m.

She then hit two more cars before her Subaru rolled over, police said.

The woman was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Two others, including a child, were also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
