4 vehicles, including ambulance carrying child, involved in I-57 crash, Illinois State Police say

CALUMET PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Four vehicles, including an ambulance with a child inside, were involved in a crash on I-57 Thursday night in the south suburbs, Illinois State Police said.

The crash occurred at about 11:06 p.m. on I-57 at 127th Street.

Police said a child that was in the ambulance was transferred toa different ambulance and transported to Comer Children's Hospital.

One other person was transported to Little Company of Mary hospital and their condition was not immediately known.
