4 vehicles, including ambulance carrying child, involved in I-57 crash, Illinois State Police say

CALUMET PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Four vehicles, including an ambulance with a child inside, were involved in a crash on I-57 Thursday night in the south suburbs, Illinois State Police said.

The crash occurred at about 11:06 p.m. on I-57 at 127th Street.

Police said a child that was in the ambulance was transferred to a different ambulance and transported to Comer Children's Hospital.

One other person was transported to Little Company of Mary hospital and their condition was not immediately known.
