
WOODRIDGE, Ill. (WLS) -- Two people were injured in a crash that caused a semi-truck to catch fire on Interstate 55 Friday morning.
Illinois State Police said they responded to a crash involving a semi-truck and another vehicle at about 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-55.
Police said two people were taken to the hospital with injuries.

All lanes were closed due to a fuel spill, police said.
All lanes reopened later in the day, police said.
