LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- For the fourth year in a row, an anonymous donor has dropped seven gold coins into a Salvation Army kettle in suburban Libertyville.

Seven Swiss gold Francs worth $1,500 were gift wrapped and dropped in the kettle on Sunday.

Along with the coins there was this hand written note that said: "Dear Salvation Army staff and all of your faithful bell ringers, you are all an inspiration to us in your care for our needy men, women and children. God's special blessings on each one of you."
