
CRESTWOOD, Ill. (WLS) -- Eight emergency responders were taken to a local hospital, after an incident involving a possible methamphetamine lab in the south suburbs Tuesday, police said.
Crestwood police said officers and fire crews responded to the incident in the 100-block of Central Avenue, and four police officers and four firefighters were later taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
All eight first responders have since been treated and released.
The person involved in the suspected meth operation remains hospitalized, police said.

Police continue to investigate.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the injuries.
