EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- ABC7 Chicago meteorologist Jaisol Martinez is participating in a north suburban walking challenge.

True North Treks, a national nonprofit based in Evanston that supports young adults and caregivers affected by cancer, is inviting people across the country to participate in "Step It Up!" a free summer step challenge running July 1 through Aug. 31.
