CHICAGO (WLS) -- This week on "Windy City Weekend", Val Warner was off, celebrating her fourth wedding anniversary with her loving husband, Jobba.
So ABC7 Chicago reporter Stephanie Wade filled in for Warner with Ryan Chiaverini. Chiaverini took a moment to look back on Warner's wedding, which he presided over.
After they reminisced about Warner's wedding, Chiaverini and Wade welcomed comedian Godrey to the studio.
The three talked about suggested wedding playlist selections for Wade. And they also were entertained by impressions from Godfrey.
Godfrey, who was raised in Chicago, where he went to Lane Tech High School and the University of Illinois, is back in his hometown for shows at the Chicago Improv. Godfrey will be at the Improv through Sunday. You can get tickets here.

Chiaverini and Wade were then joined by one of the nation's top chefs, Curtis Duffy.
Duffy is best-known as the chef and co-owner of the Michelin-starred Fulton Market restaurant, Ever.
He talked to Chiaverini and Wade about the launch of his powerful new memoir, "Fireproof," which is slated to be released on Aug. 5
The book dives deep into the resilience, trauma and precision that have shaped his life, from surviving the murder-suicide of his parents, to becoming one of the most celebrated chefs in America. You can purchase the book here.

Chiaverini and Wade then introduced the latest in the "Road to the Bud" series, where "Windy City Weekend" profiles some of the performers who will be featured in the 96th annual Bud Billiken Parade. This week, "Windy City" profiled the Empiire Dance Company, a dance group from the South Side that's been in existence since 2001.
This is one of the many groups featured in the Bud Billiken Parade, which will air live on ABC7 Chicago from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 9.

Chiaverini and Wade then welcomed film critic Richard Roeper into the studio for his weekly reviews. As usual, he had three:
'The Naked Gun'
Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson star in this reboot of the classic comedy from the 1980s, with Neeson playing the role of Frank Drebin Jr. A detective must solve a murder case to stop the police department from closing. Roeper gave it a "Spend."
'She Rides Shotgun'
In this crime thriller film, Taron Egerton stars as a newly released ex-con who is determined to keep his young daughter safe, while being pursued by a corrupt sheriff and a ruthless gang leader. Roeper gave it a "Save."
Real-life married couple Alison Brie and Dave Franco play a couple who move to the countryside and encounter a strange and terrifying supernatural force. Roeper gave this one a "Spend."

Before saying goodbye, Chiaverini and Wade announced that "Windy City Weekend" would be hosting a live studio audience for next week's show on Friday, Aug. 9.
