
LAKE COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) -- A Prospect Heights woman was found not guilty in a Lake County hit-and-run crash that killed a 22-year-old Glenview man in October 2021.
A car hit Wojciech Glowik and left the scene in the 200-block of Route 45 shortly after 2 a.m. Oct. 9, the Lake County Sheriff's Office said.
The Lake County Coroner's Office said Glowik was left unconscious and was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where he died two days later.

Amanda Cisneros-Elacio was originally charged with failure to report an injury.
Nearly four years after the deadly crash, the Prospect Heights woman was found not guilty on two felony counts.

Glowik's family said he was a "humble, kind, sweet, smart and handsome" man.
