Amazon driver drives across Indiana home's lawn to deliver package | Video

CORYDON, Ind. -- An Amazon delivery driver drove across a southern Indiana couple's freshly cut lawn to complete a drop-off on Sunday, leaving the couple in disbelief.

Elisha Magill told Storyful that instead of using the driveway, the driver had bypassed both the driveway and the sidewalk and drove directly across the yard to reach the front door.

The driver is then seen performing a U-turn to exit the lawn, leaving a massive trail of tire marks in the grass.

"We were completely shocked when we first saw the footage. At first, we were frustrated and couldn't believe what had happened. But after the initial surprise wore off, we found ourselves laughing about it because the situation was so unexpected and bizarre," Magill said.

The couple said they were in contact with Amazon regarding the incident. They said the company offered to repair the damage to the yard, and were "investigating the matter internally".
