Driver crashes into Antioch assessor's office, police say

ANTIOCH, Ill. (WLS) -- Police said a 78-year-old driver crashed into the suburban assessor's office on Thursday.

The crash happened at about 9 a.m. at 1490 Main Street, the Antioch Township Accessor's Office, police said.

Antioch police said the driver of a a 2014 Buick Sedan did not properly come to a stop while parking.

There were people inside the building, but nobody was harmed.

The 78-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with chest pain. Police said it was not clear if the driver had a medical emergency before crashing into the building.
