Police responded at about 6 a.m. to a shooting in the 500-block of Station Boulevard on Sunday.

Officers found two men, 19 and 20, who had been shot near a basketball court at 500 Station Apartments.

The shooting apparently began near the apartment complex's basketball courts before moving into a parking lot between two buildings.

The Aurora Fire Department took both victims to local hospitals. The 20-year-old is in critical condition, and the 19-year-old suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspect, identified by police as 24-year-old Aurora man Aaron Conley, fled the scene.

After an hours-long manhunt, police said Monday morning the suspect turned himself in to police at about 3 a.m. on Monday.

Conley was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm by a repeat felon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

He is due in court on Tuesday at the DuPage County Courthouse.
