Car crashes into home in unincorporated Cary

CARY, Ill. (WLS) -- People living in a home in unincorporated Cary had a scare Monday night.

A car crashed into the home around 5:34 p.m. in the 2500-block of Oakdale Terrace.

Three people inside the house were not injured, the Cary Fire Protection District said. Two people inside the car had minor injuries and declined to be transported to a hospital.

It's still unclear how that car ended up crashing into the home. Authorities said the home was deemed unsafe to occupy, pending further revaluation and repairs.
