3 struck by driver in hit-and-run crash, Carpentersville police say

CARPENTERSVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Three people are recovering after being hit by a car near Carpentersville Middle School, police said.

Police said it happened at about 11:10 p.m. on Saturday.

When police arrived, they found three people with injuries. All were taken to area hospitals.

One person had life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police did not release their ages.

No other information regarding the crash was available.
