Man wanted in connection with deadly drive-by shooting in Chatham, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are asking the public to help identify a man wanted in connection with last week's deadly South Side shooting.

The drive-by shooting happened in the Chatham neighborhood's 8200-block of South Cottage Grove Avenue just before 10:45 p.m. Monday. Two men were shot, and one died.

CPD released photos of the wanted man, who appears to be 18-24 years old. He wore a dark-colored hooded sweater and dark-colored pants with a gold chain.

Authorities did not immediately provide further information.
