Ohio Street ramp to close this weekend for repairs, IDOT says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A major street closure begins this Friday in Chicago, the Illinois Department to Transportation said.

The closure comes as crews will work on concrete pavement patching to repair the Ontario and Ohio Street ramps.

This is the second of three planned weekend closures.

Starting at 11 p.m. Friday, June 26, Ohio Street will be fully closed between the Kennedy Expressway and Orleans Street.

A detour will direct eastbound traffic to North Avenue, Clybourn Avenue, Division Street and LaSalle Drive.

Ohio Street will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, June 29, according to IDOT.
