
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police issued an alert Monday about commercial burglaries downtown and on Chicago's North Side.
CPD said three to five suspects early Monday morning tried to enter businesses by breaking the front glass doors or windows. They then stole property and products, police said.
The suspects also tried to breach an ATM and remove cash in one incident, police said.
They were seen driving in a dark-colored sedan, according to police.

The incidents took place about 2:20 a.m. in the 700-block of West Randolph Street in the West Loop, at 2:34 a.m. in the 2500-block of North Lincoln Avenue and at 3 a.m. in the same block in Lincoln Park, police said.
The front glass doors of Irish Eyes, a North Side neighborhood bar, and Smoke Dreams, a smoke shop, in the 2500-block of Lincoln Avenue were shattered, video showed.
The suspects are described as men ages 19 to 25, wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts and gloves.
No injuries were reported, Chicago police said.
