
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a deadly crash involving a CTA bus on Sunday.
The crash happened at about 4:25 a.m. in the 2300-block of South Blue Island Avenue in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood, police said.
The CTA bus was at a red light when it was rear-ended by a silver-colored SUV, according to police.
The 32-year-old driver of the SUV was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died, police said.
Five passengers were in the bus at the time of the crash. Chicago police said nobody in the bus was seriously injured.
No other information was immediately available.
