Woman also taken to hospital after stabbing man in eye who had assaulted another woman, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were injured in a stabbing Friday following a sexual assault downtown, Chicago police said.
The incident happened around 4 p.m. in the 200 block of North State Street.
A 24-year-old woman was walking on the sidewalk when she was sexually assaulted by a 31-year-old man, police said.
The 31-year-old man was then involved in a fight with a 25-year-old man, CPD said. During that incident, a 36-year-old woman with a knife and stabbed the 31-year-old man in the right eye and the 25-year-old man in his left wrist.
The two men were taken to Northwestern Hospital in good condition. The 36-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for observation, police said.
A knife was recovered at the scene.
There was no further information about the 24-year-old sexual assault or if any arrests have been made.

Chopper 7 was over the scene, where there was a police investigation underway.
CPD has blocked off the intersection near State and Lake.
