3 shot, 1 fatally, near food mart in Greater Grand Crossing, Chicago fire officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people were shot, one fatally, Friday afternoon on Chicago's South Side, fire officials said.

The shooting happened in the 300 block of West 75th Street near South Harvard Avenue in Greater Grand Crossing.

Dozens of evidence markers could be seen near and inside a food mart.

One victim was dead at the scene, a CFD spokesperson said.

A shooting victim took themselves to a hospital, and another was taken to a hospital in an ambulance, officials said. Their conditions were not known.

The ages, genders and identities of the victims were also not yet known.
