Man found dead with multiple stab wounds in West Loop, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was found dead with multiple stab wounds Saturday afternoon in downtown Chicago.

The victim was found unresponsive around 1:08 p.m. inside a residence in the 700 block of West Jackson Boulevard in West Loop, police said.

The 54-year-old man had multiple stab wounds on his chest, CPD said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office later ruled the death a suicide.
