Suburban man charged in deadly Brainerd stabbing on Easter Sunday, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was arrested in a deadly stabbing on the city's South Side, according to Chicago police.

The stabbing happened on Easter Sunday in the 9200-block of S. Green Street at about 12:50 a.m.

Nearly four months after the deadly fight, Mashaun Burton, 29 of Oak Lawn, was arrested and charged with murder.
CPD said the 30-year-old victim was in a fight with a known man inside the house.
The 30-year-old was rushed to Christ Hospital, where he died.
Burton is due in court on Thursday for a detention hearing.
