Man arrested at O'Hare, charged with stabbing woman to death in Albany Park, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man has been charged with the murder of a woman who was found stabbed to death in Albany Park, Chicago police said.

Chicago police said the woman was found Sunday at about 1:48 a.m. in the 4800-block of N. Avers Avenue.

The woman, whose age was not disclosed, was found with a stab wound in the neck.

Police said she died at the scene.

Ankur Patel, 31, was arrested on Sunday with the murder.

Police said Patel was arrested at about 11:12 a.m. at O'Hare airport.

He was charged with first degree murder.

He is due in court on Tuesday for a detention hearing.
