Burglars break into local grocery store in Rogers Park, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Burglars targeted a neighborhood grocery store Sunday morning on the city's North Side.

The crime happened around 8:10 a.m. in the 6600 block of North Clark Street, Chicago police said.

Police said multiple thieves broke in through the front glass door. Once inside, they took money from the ATM and other items.

The thieves took off in a silver car and a black SUV, CPD said.

No further information was immediately available and no arrests have been made as Chicago police continue to investigate.
