
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating after a woman was attacked and robbed at gunpoint while inside of a business on the city's Northwest Side.
The crimes happened around 10:50 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of West North Avenue, near North Paulina Street in Wicker Park, police said.
The victim, a 48-year-old woman, was inside of a business at the location when multiple offenders entered.
One suspect pulled out a gun while another suspect hit the woman, CPD said. The offenders took her belongings and money, and then the they fled the scene.
The woman had a cut on her right eye and was taken to a hospital in good condition.
No further information was available as Chicago police continue to investigate.
