'Chicago Defender' displays rare photographs

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Rare photographs from the Chicago Defender archives were on display Wednesday night.

The event was the first of many leading up to the paper's anniversary this spring. A celebration is scheduled for May 8 at Harold Washington Library.
