
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago firefighters battled an extra-alarm fire in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
The fire broke out at about 5 a.m. in an apartment building in the 4500-block of South Laflin Street.
Chopper7 flew above the scene as the fire produced heavy smoke and flames. The roof of one building appeared to have collapsed and a neighboring building appeared to also be damaged.

Fire officials said two civilians and two firefighters suffered minor injuries. Fourteen people have been displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
