1 hospitalized in fire at Avondale bar, liquor store, Chicago fire officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- At least one person was hospitalized after a fire broke out at a Northwest Side bar, Chicago fire officials said Monday.

Firefighters were seen battling the fire at about 4 a.m. at the Hangovers Bar & Liquor Store at 3532 N Pulaski Road.

Video captured as a firefighter being taken away on a stretcher, but they were alert and talking.

A Chicago fire spokesperson confirmed one person was taken to an area hospital.

No other information was available.
