Chicago firefighters tackle Dollar Tree fire on Thanksgiving in Little Village

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago firefighters battled a large fire at a Dollar Tree on Thanksgiving Day.

At about 1 p.m. the Chicago Fire Department said they were battling a fire 2517 W Cermak Road in Little Village.

CFD said the fire was at a strip mall; a photo shows a Dollar Tree store with heavy fire damage.

It was unclear if the store was open at the time the fire started.

CFD has not reported any injuries.
