South Shore Cultural Center Gallery featuring new exhibit

CHICAGO (WLS) -- There is a new exhibit at the South Shore Cultural Center Gallery.

Marcus Davis, cultural enrichment manager with the Chicago Park District, joined ABC7 Chicago Tuesday to talk more about it.

Davis shared more information on the "Young Cultural Stewards: Retrospective" exhibition, including how the artists and artworks were selected for the show.

It features interdisciplinary art from over 25 teaching artists, youth and community members celebrating youth art programs.

It's open now through Nov. 8 at 7059 S. South Shore Dr. The gallery's hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The show is free to attend.
