
CHICAGO (WLS) -- The former owners of the Signature Room are being sued for backpay.
The iconic restaurant in Chicago's former John Hancock building closed in 2023.
On Friday, the UNITE HERE Local 1 union filed a lawsuit to hold the owners liable for paying $1.5 million in pay and benefits to workers.
ABC7 has reached out to the owners for comment, but has not heard back yet.
No further information about the lawsuit was available.
