2 shot during fight on CTA bus in Humboldt Park, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were shot Saturday during a fight on a CTA bus.

The shooting happened around 3:19 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Chicago Avenue in Humboldt Park, Chicago police said.

An unknown male, who age was not known, was in an altercation with a group of males while on a CTA bus at the location, police said. The altercation turned physical, and a firearm went off.

Two people were shot, a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, CPD said. They were both taken to a hospital and were reported to be in fair condition.

No arrests have been made as Chicago police continue to investigate.
