2 people found fatally shot on Northwest Side, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were found fatally shot behind a residence Thursday afternoon on the city's Northwest Side

The victims were found around 3:30 p.m. in the 7800 block of West Cahill Terrace, Chicago police said.

A 20-year-old man had multiple gunshot wounds to his body, police said. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.

Another male victim, whose age was not yet known, was also taken to the hospital in critical condition for multiple gunshot wounds, and he was also later pronounced dead, CPD said.

The names of the victims have not yet been released.

The circumstances of the shooting were unknown and no one was in custody.

No further information was immediately available as Chicago police continue to investigate.
