
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 26-year-old man was shot and critically injured Thursday morning in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
The man was standing outside just after 11:30 a.m. in the 3600-block of West Grand Avenue, when someone got out of a vehicle and fired shots at him, police said.
The man was shot multiple times and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, CPD said.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction, police said.
Area Four detectives are investigating the shooting.
