Community calls for federal aid as CPD investigates multiple shootings
Community members called for federal aid Sunday as Chicago police investigate weekend shootings that left at least four dead and multiple hurt.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people were shot and one person was hurt in a West Side shooting on Sunday, police said.

The shooting happened at about 8:22 a.m. in the 1400-block of North Leclaire Avenue, according to police.

Chicago police said four people were outside when a white sedan drove by and someone started shooting.

A 33-year-old woman was shot in the right knee and left ankle.

A 36-year-old man was shot in the left thigh, the right leg, and the right foot.

A 43-year-old man was shot multiple times to the body and leg.

A 30-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with injuries to the feet.

CPD said all victims were taken to Stroger hospital in fair condition.

No other injuries were reported.

Nobody is in custody.
