
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was shot to death after allegedly stabbing a woman in Englewood, Chicago police said.
It happened at about 10:56 p.m. in the 400-block of W. Marquette Road, police said.
CPD said a 22-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were arguing inside a home.
The man then allegedly stabbed the 22-year-old in the stomach and pulled her outside the home, police said.
A known woman inside the home then shot at the man. CPD said she shot him in the chest.
He was taken to the University of Chicago where he later died.
The 22-year-old woman was taken to the University of Chicago in good condition.
The woman who allegedly shot the suspect was taken into custody. Police said charges are pending.
A gun was recovered at the scene.
