St. Jude Memorial March 2026 to honor fallen Chicago police officers | See street closures

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The St. Jude Memorial March will honor fallen Chicago police officers on Sunday in downtown on Sunday.

Gold Star families and the community will meet at about 6:30 a.m. and step off from Michigan Avenue between Superior Street and Wacker Drive.

The march comes one week after CPD Officer John Bartholomew was killed and his partner was shot last

Street Closures

The march will impact downtown traffic from 4 a.m. until noon on Sunday.

There will be no parking allowed on all streets within Oak Street to the Chicago River and LaSalle Dr to Saint Clair Street until noon.

The following closures will be in effect until noon.

-Michigan Ave., from Pearson St. to Wacker Dr.

-Chicago Ave., from Clark St.to Miles Van Der Rohe Way

-Dearborn St., from Huron St.to Pearson St.

-State St., from Huron St.to Pearson St.

-Wabash Ave, from Huron St.to Pearson St.

-Rush St., from Huron St.to Pearson St.

-Superior St., from Saint Clair St.to Rush St.

-Huron St., from Saint Clair St.to Rush St.

-Erie St., from Saint Clair St.to Rush St.

-Ontario St., from Saint Clair St.to Rush St.

-Ohio St., from Saint Clair St.to Rush St.
