
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was stabbed in the face on Chicago's Northwest Side on Monday; police said a suspect was taken into custody.
It happened at about 6:19 p.m. in the 4900 block of N. Pulaski Road in the North Mayfair neighborhood, Chicago police said.
A man, 45, got into an argument with an unknown man, according to police.
The unknown man then pulled out a sharp object and allegedly stabbed the 45-year-old twice in the face.

The victim was taken to an area hospital; he is expected to be OK.
CPD officers took a suspect into custody shortly after, police said.
Charges are pending as CPD Area Five Detectives investigate.
