

CROWN POINT, Ind. (WLS) -- Northwest Indiana police are investigating after a teen girl died after she was found unresponsive in a hot tub Wednesday morning.
Crown Point officials said police responded just before 8:30 a.m. to a home in the 1000-block of East Greenwood Avenue for a report of an unresponsive child in a hot tub.
When police arrived, fire crews were performing life-saving measures on the 14-year-old girl. She was taken to Franciscan Health Crown Point, where she was later pronounced dead.

Crown Point police are investigating.
They did not immediately provide any additional information.
