Road to the Bud

Bringing Out Talent is the next dance group highlighted ahead of the Bud parade.

Every week, "Windy City Weekend" has been highlighting a different dance group getting ready for the annual Bud Billiken parade, for the series, "Road to the Bud."

"Windy City" headed to Taylor Park in Bronzeville to catch up with Bringing Out Talent, a team who's been performing in the parade for more than 50 years.

'Windy City Weekend' took a look inside an upcoming hip-hop and culture festival.

Chicago native and actor Wood Harris and the CEO and executive director of Ibukun Comprehensive Services talked about the upcoming IBUKUN Comprehensive Community Services Hip Hop & Culture Festival.

The festival is an immersive indoor experience designed to celebrate creativity, amplify voices and promote mental wellness in Chicago.

This festival is a fundraiser directly supporting IBUKUN Comprehensive Community Services, with proceeds going toward expanding mental health programming for youth and families in underserved communities. Attendees are not only celebrating culture, they are investing in healing and change.
