1 killed in multi-vehicle crash in Jasper County, sheriff's office says

DEMOTTE, Ind. (WLS) -- One person died and multiple were injured in a crash on Monday in northwest Indiana, Jasper County officials said.

The crash happened at 1100 West County Road in Demotte, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office said.

Officials confirmed one person died.

The sheriff's office said the road would be closed for the investigation.
