Man's estate sues suspect, management after DuSable Harbor drowning

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The estate of a man murdered at DuSable Harbor is suing the suspect and the management company contracted to provide security.

The lawsuit alleges Westrec Marina management of not having roaming patrols between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

It was during those hours last August when prosecutors say Alexis Trader punched 63-year-old Nabil Abzal, also known as Captain Bill.

The punch allegedly caused Abzal to fall into the water, where he drowned.

Trader is charged with murder.
