Fox Lake fire crews searching for missing swimmer in bay near Chain O' Lakes area

FOX LAKE, Ill. (WLS) -- Emergency crews are searching for a missing swimmer in the north suburbs Monday evening.

Fox Lake fire crews responded to Myers Bay, which is near the Chain O' Lakes area.

Chopper 7 was over the scene about 7 p.m.

Various emergency vehicles and boats could be seen.

Officials did not immediately provide any additional information about what led up to the swimmer going missing or any details about the swimmer.
