Samantha Alvarez missing from Cicero for nearly 2 weeks

CICERO, Ill. (WLS) -- Cicero police are searching for a 16-year-old-girl who has been missing for nearly two weeks.

Samantha Alvarez, of the 2100-block of 49th Avenue in Cicero, went to visit her grandmother after a fight with her mother and did not return. Alvarez's grandmother lives down the stairs from the girl and her mother.

Police said the Morton East High School junior suffers from severe emotional problems.
