CHICAGO (WLS) -- A local girl battling cancer is hoping to bring some cheer to other kids this holiday season through a toy drive.

Emily Beazley, 11, is recovering from a stem cell transplant, which she needed to help her fight cancer.

After spending some time recovering at Hope Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, Emily wanted to give back to the children still there.

Emily's sister, 8-year old Olivia, donated the stem cells to save her sister's life.

The toy drive is taking place today at Sean's Rhino Bar in the Beverly neighborhood.
