
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Get ready for a BBQ showdown in support of our everyday heroes. The 100 Club of Illinois is preparing to host its inaugural First Responders BBQ Cook-Off.
Head to 115 Bourbon Street on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., for a sizzling evening of food, fun, and friendly competition.
Paramedics, firefighters, and police officers will be serving up sample-sized portions of ribs, pulled pork, and pulled chicken, all while competing for the title of top grill master.
Wristbands include beer, wine, and food samples for the first 250 guests, so come hungry!
A cash bar will be available for additional food and liquor options.
