Hanover Park police investigation closes streets

HANOVER PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Hanover police have closed streets as part of an investigation Monday morning.

Police are investigating an incident in the 6500-block of Church Street.

Church Street from Walnut, Church Street from Lake, Maple from Barrington and Maple at Church are currently blocked as police investigate.

Neighbors said people are being told to remain in their homes. Every 15 minutes, there's an announcement on a loudspeaker for the person to come out of his house with hands up.
