HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- It's a no-go on a Michael Jordan Museum in Highland Park.
The property's new owner, John Cooper, wanted to turn the estate, known as Champions Point, into an attraction, that he said would attract thousands to town.
Cooper argued it would be good for the local economy.
People who live nearby were mostly against it, because of traffic and noise concerns.
In the end, the council voted seven to zero against the zoning proposal.
