Members of International Flying Club owned plane

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. (WLS) -- The National Transportation Safety Board is out with its preliminary report on a deadly plane crash at DuPage Airport.
The pilot and passenger were killed on Dec. 17 at the airport in West Chicago.
Air Traffic control says the pilot was cleared for takeoff in the Piper PA-30, a twin-engine plane, and there were no other radio calls made before the crash.
The initial report also found "no anomalies with the flight controls or engines."
The NTSB is expected to take a year, or more, before releasing its final report.
Members of the International Flying Club owned the plane.
An official with the International Flying Club, based out of DuPage Airport, said both people on the plane had connections to the club. One was a current member, and one was a former member. ABC7 Chicago was told the aircraft was owned by multiple club members.
The DuPage County coroner on Tuesday identified those killed as Christopher G. Mcharg, 66 of Winfield and John O'Grady, 56 of West Chicago.
Their manner of death was deemed accidental.
