
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- Schaumburg police have identified the woman who was found dead on Tuesday morning near a shopping center.
Police said they received a call about a disturbance at about 5:25 a.m. in the 100-block of South Roselle Road.
Officers found a woman at the scene; police said she was dead when they arrived.
She was identified as Jenny Rodriguez, 37 of Des Plaines, by Schaumburg police.
Authorities added that a knife was recovered at the scene.
On Tuesday, a man was taken into custody at the scene, police said.
Schaumburg police said the two knew each other and it appeared to be a "domestic related incident."

Charges in the case are pending.
Officials have not released Rodriguez' cause of death.
